Most planners give you a blank grid. This one starts from your real plot, with its paths, shed, water butts and fruit trees, and keeps the whole season in one place.
Drag beds, paths, sheds, fences and paving onto a plot drawn to scale. Undo recent layout changes.
Plant crops into each bed's grid, set a sowing date, and see the harvest window worked out.
Start from a library of common crops, then add your own packets and varieties, with your own photos.
See at a glance when a crop family grew in the same bed in the last two years, and why it matters.
A simple list with dates. Dated jobs land in that week's plan, and overdue ones get a red dot.
Record what each bed gives you, by weight or count, and see your total for the year.
Try the same crop artwork and growing information used inside your planner. Change the crop, then tap the bed to plant or clear a space.
An interactive example, using sample data. Your changes here are not saved.
Enter your plot size whichever way you know it and the planner draws it to scale. Not sure? Pick a quarter, half or full plot and adjust later.
| Plot | Poles | Square metres |
|---|---|---|
| Quarter plot | 2.5 | 63 m² |
| Half plot | 5 | 126 m² |
| Standard plot | 10 | 253 m² |
| Large plot | 20 | 506 m² |
Plan your space. Time your sowing. Enjoy the harvest.
At launch: try it free for 14 days. Card required; cancel before the trial ends and pay nothing.
Yes. Draw a layout in the Plot Designer and choose the week it starts. Earlier weeks keep the layout they had, and the Weekly Plan shows your plot for whichever week you pick.
Yes. Open a greenhouse in the Plot Designer to lay out the inside: beds down both sides or in a U shape, with a walkway. You can add grow bags, benches, shelving, a potting bench, a chair and water storage. Each bed has its own planting spaces.
Yes. Add your own varieties with the timings from your packet, and attach a photo to each seed (up to 1 MB). You can also add a photo of your plot (up to 4 MB). Photos need a connection to load.
Yes. Add it to your phone's home screen and it opens like an app. Tick off jobs and log harvests while you are there. Once you have opened it with a connection, you can keep planning with no signal and it catches up when you are back in range. Photos and the weather need a connection.
Yes. Download a backup file, restore from a file, or go back to a restore point. Restore points stay in your browser on that device, so download a file to keep a safe copy. You can also print your plans.
The starter list uses general UK guidance with sources such as the RHS. Sowing dates are matched to your frost dates, and your own seed packet always wins, so every crop can be edited to match it.
Not yet. Sow Ahead is invitation only while we get ready to launch. If you have been invited, you sign in with a secure link sent to your email, so there is no password to remember.
Nothing today: invited people are testing it for free. At launch the plan is planned at £35 a year, with a 14-day free trial. A card is needed to start, nothing is charged during the trial, and if you cancel before it ends you pay nothing.
You can download a full backup of your plan before you go, so nothing is lost. Paying only starts at launch.
Not for everyone yet. Sharing a plot with a partner only works for one set-up at the moment, so please do not count on it. We would like to add it for everyone, but we are not promising a date.
Join the waiting list and we will email you when the site is live. We will only email you about the launch.
